The track explores a theme of asking someone, anyone to 'take me to your future, relax, hold on and believe me!’ [the lyrics!]
The music is based on the often exciting synchrony of overlapping arpeggiated sequences giving the composition unique base layers and juxtapositions of harmony, rhythm and melody.
The video was filmed in South East Asia - Hoi An Vietnam, Angkor Watt area of Cambodia, Luang Prabang on the Mekong river in Laos and at Java’s Borobudur temple and Mangkunegaran palace in Solo. The clip reflects what sort of future may be ahead for the four year old Laotian twins with smart phone in hand, and for you and for all of us in the age of climate change.
It features water, rivers and dancers as symbols of the flow of time and constant change.
I embrace music video as art, documentary, social commentary, short story and soundtrack.
First music release since the 'Tranzworld Express' album in 2011 and the retrospective release on vinyl/digital 'Cool Change' in 2017 via Left Ear Records.
